RHODOCHROSITE

Alma Park County, Colorado


A small minature size specimen of rich gemmy red intergrown rhodochrosite rhombohedrois. The major top crystal is cleaved on its back side with minor contacting at the top of the crystal. This primary crystal is formed on additional intergrown rhodochrosite crystals. Some quartz crystals are formed on the front side of the specimen. Overall a fine minature.
