A simple Calcite twin showing complex crystal faces with multiple forms. One end of the twin shows some pocket contacting but not cleaved. Internally gemmy.
CALCITE (Twin) 884 Mine, Leiping, Guangxi Province, China
An extremely sharp rhombohedral Calcite which is actually twinned. The twinning plane is slighty noticable on the crystal edge zones. The primary crystal is formed with additional smaller Calcite at the base of the specimen. All crystal faces are present with none cleaved or broken.
